Down below is a copy of a BLOG posted up on Neal Schon's page. It is called "ROCK HARD" posted up on Feb. 28th 2009.

When you read the entire blog, you realize it is entirely one sided and not the COMPLETE interview. Anyhow, this blog title is pretty sarcastic in nature once you read the title of the actual interview and read the context.

Seems to me the posting of this blog was an act of battle against Steve Perry and to all the fans that express their support and concern for Steve Perry which I did share with Neal, Jonathan and the Journey Myspace this blog is supposedly the ticket to having the last word or a bitter defense mechanism?

Seriously, Neal needs to let the fence of control down. Steve Perry has valid reasons for disposition. Neal is way too absorbed with wanting to be in the spotlight and fame....this is what it is always about....and I think deep down inside, he hates Steve Perry for having had the spotlight during the successful years of Journey. It's like Neal wants to discredit or misrepresent Steve Perry at any chance he gets to make everyone dislike him and blame him for not remaining with the band. But we know truthfully that Neal never accepted Steve Perry in the band and out came all kinds of behaviors and mentalities. This competitive game never stops.

Neal should understand that the lead frontman in any band always gets the fame. Look at all the other music bands in history for goodness sakes! and Neal Schon talks about growing up after time??? Does anyone notice that the main Journey website, Neal Schon's photo is first when they display the lineup of the band? His name is always displayed first for the line up (as of today it still remains)....typically the lead frontman is always first. I for one have never seen this kind of display. Wow, like Neal doesn't know the evil empire he is brewing behind the scenes with Jonathan Cain? Give me a break.
Anyhow, here is his blog down below:

JOURNEY Guitarist NEAL SCHON - "I Have Tried To Talk To STEVE PERRY Numerous Times; You'd Think That After A While, Everybody Would GrowUp"

Posted on Saturday, November 15, 2008 at 06:16:39 EST

Following up his interviewwith ex-JOURNEY vocalist Steve Perry, Alex Pappademas recently spokewith guitarist Neal Schon for GQ to hear his side of the split betweenPerry and the band. Following is an excerpt from the interview:

Q: You went on to make a string of hit records with Steve. Youbecame one of the biggest bands in the world. And then you went onhiatus. What was the deal with that? Did you get burned out? Schon: "Well, of course, everybody gets burned, but I was like amachine out there. I loved touring. So I was ready to go, go, go, and Ithink pretty much everybody else in the band was. [After the Raised onRadio tour] Steve Perry just came up and said, 'Look, I'm burnt, I'mtoast, I need to take a rest.' And so in the middle of a tour, he justpulled out. I believe we were in Hawaii. We hadn't finished the secondleg of the tour. And so everybody packed their stuff, went home, andI'm hearing that we're gonna be off for maybe a couple months, threemonths, six months, whatever—but it turned out to be close to eight toten years."

Q: Did you feel like Journey had run its course?Schon: "No—I didn't think Journey was done. We actually never evenquit. It wasn't like we called each other and went, 'Okay, this ishistory, nice knowin' ya.' It was just sort of left at a hiatus. And itwas all based around Steve giving us a call and saying 'Okay, I'm finenow, I'm ready to go.' And it just didn't happen."

Q: Was that frustrating for you, that he sort of pulled out like that?Schon: "Well, yeah. You work on something for so many years, andyou attain what you attain, which was an amazing feat, and then it'ssort of like the rug is pulled out from under you."

Q: You and Steve don't talk, right? Is it safe to say that there's not communication between you anymore?Schon: "I have tried to talk to him, numerous times. And he willnot allow me to have his number. Everything has to go through lawyersand management. And that is sort of a drag. You'd think that after awhile, everybody would grow up and be able to talk, one on one. But itjust hasn't happened. So, because of his wishes, that's the way thingsgo down."

Are we surprised by this? His performances are bad not just at the Super Bowl but even the Journey tour concerts!!!

Anyhow, this is so tacky altogther, that it's sad...what a degrading time in history for Journey. It's equivalent to a prank gone bad:

Well, here's my response from "Dan", supposedly acting as if the band does not deal with their myspace pages. Anyway, about 1.5 months later. I received this email in my myspace. Neal Schon's "Dan" is in red and my original email to him is down below is in blue:

Sorry for the late response. My name is Dan, I run this MySpace page, as far as other pages and the official website goes, it is run by Journey's management, webmasters, moderators, etc. and not by the band itself. Almost all information the band gets from their fans goes through management. The music industry is a business. "The Band" itself isn't banning you, so I believe it to be unfair to blame the band, but you should solely consult Azoff Management of your complaint. Thanks, Dan

neal,i find it rude for Journey to ban me. i have a right to my contructive thoughts & criticism. banning me is pretty outrageous on Journey's part. Journey is so hateful...i know this becuase they are even not approving my sister's comment which was wishing STEVE PERRY a happy birthday. so for the record, i am being SINGLED OUT.

u think all of us old fans don't care about what happened about the band breakup? yeah right, like we are mechanical fans....we do more than just buy the albums u know.i was a young girl about 9 yrs old when i listened to all the music, recorded all the videos, the FRONTIERS days was my favorite...i watched the interviews & when u guys hosted night tracks...i was a journey fans until the breakup.......dont' tell me it wasn't was for us too....we're huaman too and yeah i do have opinions about it. till this day, i know u have a sword in ur heart for Steve perry.

what u guys did was wrong. I have a right to my opinion. how dare JOUNREY ban me. I'm not surprised these days. So WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT THIS??????????? I'D LIKE TO SEE JUST HOW YOU GUYS WILL TAKE CARE OF A FAN...........we're watching & waiting...
